Flying Fish Gallery Archive
November 23, 2002- August 23, 2003
Flying Fish Gallery was a small store front located in Milwaukee's Riverwest
neighborhood co-owned and curated by Faythe Levine & Brent Goodsell.
Durring the year they were open they had the legendary Sock Monkey Show
featuring over 100 artists from around the United States and Canada,
as well as 5 successful and amazing shows featuring local artists who
rarely show in the Milwaukee area. As well as showcasing art, Flying
Fish sold a small amount of handmade goods, zines, and independent music
releases from Milwaukee's Neapolitan Record label, poor folk records
and others.
Here is some of the press the gallery received during it's short life
and a list of the shows that occurred in that time.
